Jordan denounces storming of Al-Aqsa by Israeli police

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, May 7 (Petra)-- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, on Friday, condemned Israeli forces' storming of Al Aqsa Mosque/Al Haram Al Sharif, as well as, the barbarian assault on worshipers.
The ministry's spokesperson Daifallah Fayez said such actions represent a severe escalation, holding Israel, as an occupying force, full responsibility for the safety of the holy mosque and worshippers.
He urged the international community to exert pressure on Israel to halt its ongoing violations and provocations at Al Haram Al Sharif.
