Ukraine- Shmyhal: Adaptive quarantine effective, no need to introduce full lockdown
"As we see, the model of adaptive quarantine is effective. As we have earlier stressed: it makes no sense to impose a total lockdown throughout the country. Local authorities must continue to respond correspondingly to the situation in their regions, and we all should not relax, but follow anti-epidemic rules, Shmyhal said at a government's meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
He stressed that the situation in some regions remains tense. However, some regions reports a decrease in the number of new COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations.
As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine recorded 14,553 new coronavirus on April 13.
