Jordan- China puts in place initiative for peace, stability in Middle East

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Mar. 26 (Petra)-- China has stressed that resolving the Palestinian cause represents the most important test for justice in the Middle East region.
Beijing made its remarks as it puts in place an initiative to achieve peace and security in the Middle East region, that was announced in a statement issued by its embassy in Amman.
China through its presidency of the UN Security Council next month will invite the Palestinian and Israelis to conduct dialogues in China, the statement said.
China will advance a five-point plan to realize regional peace and stability in the Middle East, the statement noted.
The points include first, advocating mutual respect, second, upholding equity and justice, third, achieving non-proliferation, fourth, jointly fostering collective security, and fifth, accelerating development cooperation, the statement said.
