U.S.: Unemployment rate hits 6.2 percent
(MENAFN)The Department of Labor declared on Friday, March 5, that the U.S. economy added 379,000 jobs and the joblessness rate dropped to 6.2 percent in February.
According to data by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the marketplace approximation for nonfarm payrolls was an upsurge of 182,000 for February, while job losses for January were increased by 117,000, from 49,000 to 166,000.
The redundancy rate also managed to hit the marketplace anticipation as the consensus for it was to stay unaffected at 6.3 percent in February from the past month.
