Iran ready to support Iraq in security affairs if needed
(MENAFN)IRNA news agency reported that Tehran is set to support Iraq in security affairs if required, according to Iraj Masjedi, Iran's ambassador to Iraq during an interview with Iraq’s Kurdish TV channel Rudav.
Masjedi further stated that Iran supports restoration of full security in Iraq, never with those who aim to decline Iraq’s security, and in pursuit of such policies Tehran is even ready assist Iraq.
Beside the fact that the subsistence of foreign forces has no value, it leads to more insecurity and tension both in Iraq and the region as well, he also declared.
Iran's ambassador to Baghdad stated that Iran resolutely stated that the security forces of the Iraqi central government and the autonomous Iraqi Kurdistan Region can guarantee security with no foreign forces.
