Afghan air attacks leave 8 militants dead in western Farah province


(MENAFN) On Sunday, Jan. 24, an issued military report showed that an overall of eight militants have been confirmed killed as fighting planes raided the Taliban hideout in Balablock region of the western Farah province on Saturday.

A group of militants met in a hideout to outline a plan for assaults on security services in Balablock region where the army's fighting planes acting on an inform on Saturday afternoon, instantly leaving eight dead and injuring another five.

The report further said that the militants ran away after undergoing casualties.

There hasn't been yet any comment shared by the Taliban group which is operational in zones of Farah province with Farah city as its capital 696 km west of Kabul.
