Iraq COVID-19 cases up by 823, nine deaths

BAGHDAD, Jan 19 (KUNA) -- Iraq's coronavirus deaths increased by nine as the daily confirmed cases rose by 823, the health ministry said on Tuesday.
This brings the caseload across the country's provinces, including the Kurdistan Region, to 609,852 as the death toll hits 12,962, a ministry statement read.
On the other hand, a total 573,011 people have been cured of the virus. (end)
