Palestinian representative denounces Morocco-Israel normalization accord
(MENAFN) On Thursday, Dec. 10, the Moroccan-Israeli normalization accord was denounced by senior Palestinian official, emphasizing that it is "unacceptable and harmful to the Palestinian issue."
Nabil Shaath, consultant to Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas for international relations stated in a press declaration: "Normalizing ties with Israel will harm the Palestinian cause."
The Palestinian leadership will always refuse such "unacceptable agreements," he emphasized.
Morocco accepted to continue with official contacts and found diplomatic bonds with Israel when possible, according to a declaration by the Morocco's Royal Cabinet.
