Algeria: 10 COVID-19 patients give up
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ALGIERS, Sept 22 (KUNA) -- Ten patients who suffered from infection with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) gave up fight for their lives during past 24 hours, the local health department reported on Tuesday.
Dr. Jamal Forar, spokesperson of the COVID-19 response committee, said during his daily briefing that the overall count of the cases climbed to 50,214, along with a total of 1,689 deaths.
He also reported 127 new recovery cases raising the tally to 35,307 including 34 patients in intensive care units. (end)
