(MENAFN) On Saturday August 22 The Chilean Ministry of Health accounted 1,926 new cases of the novel coronavirus for an entire of 395,708 cases in the country, with 10,792 fatalities.
As well, 1,058 people are hospitalized in concentrated care units, with 773 of these patients on ventilators and 166 in serious state.
Health authorities accounted that 29,727 extra PCR tests were carried out in the last 24 hours, for an entire of 2,172,028 tests managed to date.
The country's hygienic residences accounted that there are 10,439 places obtainable to citizens who need them, and that they are at present hosting 5,209 people athwart the nation.
