(MENAFN) On Thursday August 13 Lenin Moreno Ecuadorian President and Sebastian Pinera Chilean President signed a trade accord that will improve commercial relations involving the two countries.
The marking of the accord was carried out almost with the contribution of the presidents and officials from the two countries' foreign ministries.
Moreno stated that "Trade is the basis of any economy. It guarantees employment, income, investment, and above all, development and well-being for the families of our countries ", and the trade accord is the outcome of negotiations that began in 2019, with aspires of "refreshing" trade relations.
Moreno stated that the new accord comprises a section surrendering Ecuadorian products admission to the Chilean market, with significant tax repayment for the undeveloped sector.
