Lebanon reports one death, 175 new COVID-19 cases


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, July 25 (KUNA) -- The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Saturday 175 new people tested positive for COVID-19 and one person succumbed to it in the last 24 hours.
Today's figures took the total infections and fatalities to 3,582 and 47 respectively, the ministry added in a statement.
The overall recoveries rose to 1,671 since the outbreak of the virus and up to 9,576 tests were made in the 24 hours, it noted.
The Lebanese government extended the general mobilization status until August 2 as part of measures to face the virus. However, Rafiq al-Hariri airport resumed operation early July. (end)
