Lebanon: total coronavirus infection cases reach 1,945
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, July 8 (KUNA) -- Lebanon declared on Wednesday recording 39 new coronavirus cases raising the tally to 1,945.
Lebanese Ministry of Health said in its daily report about the pandemic that no death cases were reported during the past 24 hour, maintaining the total figure of patients who lost their lives to the contagion at 36.
Moreover, number of recovery cases rose to 1,368, the ministry said, adding that 3,558 medical examinations for the virus were conducted in the past 24 hours.
Lebanese Government had decided to extend the general mobilization status until August 2, as part of protective measures against the outbreak. (end)
