Afghan forces pound Taliban hideouts
(MENAFN) As said in an army statement, Afghan forces attacked Taliban hideouts in the western Ghoon on Saturday causing the death of at least 13 Taliban militants.
The security forces from the ground and air attacked the militants' hideouts when they were planning to start huge raids at security checkpoints to take Shahrak district of the restive province and killed 13 insurgents, as the statement said.
The statement informed that, no security personnel and civilians had been injured during the attacks.
Taliban militants didn't make a comment so far.
