Qatar- Vehicle inspections suspended till further notice: Fahes

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Vehicles in Qatar will be exempted from inspection till further notice because of the COVID -19 crisis, Fahes has announced in coordination with the Traffic Department. 
Effective from March 22, the registration for vehicle inspection and the payments can be done using WOQOD Mobile App without going to the inspection centres, Fahes said in a statement Wednesday. 

WOQOD App is available for both iOS and Android platforms and can be downloaded from the respective online stores, Google Play and Apple's App Store, informed Fahes. After downloading WOQOD mobile app, these steps to be followed:-

* Open app
* Click on FAHES Icon
* FAHES page will open

*Click on Request new FAHES inspection.
* Enter your Qatari ID number
*Mobile number
*Car Plate number,
*Plate Type
*Email address.

Once entering the above data is finished , press the submit button, and a page will be opened wherein it will be needed to enter the mobile number which will receive the inspection report.
To register click on register button, once done the terms and condition page will open.
Further enter the card details and make the payment. After completion of the payment the registered mobile will receive a payment receipt.

The registered mobile number will receive a message instructing him/her to proceed with the renewal of registration. Renew the insurance and login to Metrash to have the Registration certificate renewed.
