Qatar attends Arab League Council meeting


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Arab League Council met yesterday at the level of permanent delegates headed by Oman succeeding Iraq, with the participation of Qatar. The meeting was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League, in preparation for the work of the 153rd Ordinary Session of the Council at the level of foreign ministers scheduled to be held tomorrow. HE the Permanent Representative of Qatar to the Arab League, ambassador Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz al-Sahlawi, headed Qatar's delegation to the preparatory session.
During the meeting, the Council will review the agenda of the 153rd session which includes various areas of joint Arab action regarding the report of the secretary-general of the Arab League on the activity of the League's General Secretariat. QNA
