Qatar- Amir meets Adviser to King of Morocco, Minister of Foreign Affairs


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met yesterday at the Amiri Diwan with the Adviser to H M King of Morocco H E Fouad Ali El Himma and the Morocco's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H E Nasser Bourita

At the outset of the meeting, the adviser conveyed the greetings of HM King Mohammed VI of Morocco, who wished His Highness good health and the Qatari people further progress.

H H the Amir entrusted H E the adviser with his greetings and wishes of good health to HM the king, and for further progress and prosperity to the Moroccan people, expressing thanks to the decision of H M the King to mobilize all expertise and capabilities of Morocco to contribute to the organization of the World Cup 2022 in Qatar.



The meeting also reviewed bilateral relations and the latest regional and international developments.
The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani also  met at the Amiri Diwan with H E Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Dr. Nayef bin Falah Al Hajraf, who was greeting His Highness on the occasion of his appointment as secretary-general.

H H the Amir congratulated H E the Secretary-General, wishing him well in his role to serve the joint interests of the people of GCC countries, stressing the State of Qatar's commitment to the unity of the GCC.

For his part, H E the Secretary-General expressed his thanks and appreciation for H H the Amir, and for the State of Qatar's role in supporting the council.
