Emirates SkyCargo's service quality wins worldwide recognition


(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dubai: Emirates SkyCargo, the freight division of Emirates has won a number of international accolades since the start of 2019, in recognition of the outstanding quality of the air cargo services.
SkyCell, a leading pharma airfreight container provider, has named Emirates SkyCargo as the winner of the first SkyCell Quality Award for Safest Partner Airline in recognition of its exemplary performance for the transportation of temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals.
Emirates SkyCargo was named the Best Air Cargo Carrier- Middle East in the 2019 edition of the Asian Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain Awards held in Hong Kong. The awards are organised annually by Asia Cargo News .The nomination and voting process for the awards were determined by the more than 15,000 readers of the publication.
Earlier this year, Emirates SkyCargo was declared the winner of the Air Cargo Excellence Awards organised by Air Cargo World. The carrier was given the Diamond Award in the 1 million tonnes or more categories. The awards were determined based on the ranking provided by more than 1,700 market participants in the air cargo industry and are based on a composite score of Customer Service, Performance and Value.
For the fourth consecutive year, Emirates SkyCargo won the Best International Cargo Airline award organised by Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL). Emirates SkyCargo offers its global air cargo transportation solutions to Indian businesses through its local network which covers Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram in addition to Bangalore.
Emirates Skycargo also won two accolades at the 'Quality Award Italy 2019', organised by the IATA Airfreight Forwarders Association Italy (ANAMA). The air cargo carrier was named Best Carrier in two categories: 'Flown as Booked' and 'Customer Satisfaction'.
Emirates SkyCargo is the world's largest international cargo airline connecting cargo customers to over 155 cities across six continents. Emirates SkyCargo offers cargo capacity on its fleet of 269 aircraft including 12 freighters- 11 Boeing 777-Fs and one B747F. The air cargo carrier operates two cargo terminals at its hub in Dubai and has developed specialised air transportation products for specific industry verticals.
