Kuwait- Parliament chief lauds impact of leading late sports figure, Al-Faris
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Dec 5 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim expressed sorrow over the passing of Qadsia Sports Club former president Abdulmohsin Al-Faris, describing him a main pillar in the country's sports movement.
After paying his respects, the chief lawmaker said the memory of the late sports club head will remain long-lived on the mind of every Kuwaiti.
Al-Ghanim applauded Al-Fares' contributions to sports, domestically and regionally, saying sports personalities in the region will continue to regard him a "father figure and an example." (end)
