Bahrain Crown Prince lauds Kuwait's stances


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MANAMA, Dec 4 (KUNA) -- Bahrain's Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad extolled on Wednesday Kuwait's stances towards the Kingdom, describing them as "honorable".
This came during Crown Prince's reception of Director General of Kuwait Fund For Arab Economic Development (KFAED) Abdulwahab Al-Bader, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
Crown Prince Salman stressed the depth of ties between the two countries and pointed to the key role of Kuwait in backing development efforts in various countries in the region, the agency said.
He said that his country has been seeking to boost relations, cooperation and coordination with Kuwait to meet the desired aspirations.
Bahrain continues enhancing development paths through programs and initiatives aiming to meet aspirations of citizens, he noted.
He stressed the importance of creating varied economic sectors for further promising investment opportunities to be in the interest of Bahrain.
Meanwhile, Al-Bader thanked the Crown Prince for his interest in promoting the Kuwait-Bahraini ties on all levels, wishing Bahrain everlasting progress and prosperity.
The KFAED and Bahrain signed today a loan worth KD 29.5 million (about USD 100 million) to contribute to funding 400-kv transmission network in Bahrain. (end)
