Kuwait - 7th eGovernment conference kicks off


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Nov 16: The 7th eGovernment Forum (EGOV7) kicked off under the theme 'Smart Government Trends', organized by 'Nouf Expo' under the patronage of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak.

According to a press release, Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak was represented at the opening ceremony by the board chairperson and the CEO of the Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) Eng Salem Al-Utheina.

The objective of the forum is to boost and revolutionize the smartgovernment initiative in Kuwait for years to come. The forum will also shed light on the most influential technology phenomena that are supporting smart-government initiatives globally, namely the Cloud, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Mobility.

The event focuses on planning and development efforts that government agencies should implement to make the best use of supporting technologies such as strategies, governance, DevOps, and building expertise. The forum consists of two essential specialized workshops that all enterprises – public and – need to survive and thrive in the information age. These workshops are 'Strategies Follow-Up and Performance Management Workshop' and 'Introduction and Practical Use Cases for Artificial Intelligence Workshop'.
