'Best' low-cost airline has new CEO, expansion plans


(MENAFN- Newsroom Panama) Wingo airline  listed for the second consecutive year as the best low-cost airline in Latin America, according to KAYAK travelers, has  named Carolina Cortizo Colón as the new CEO who will head major expansion plans in 2020

According to Wingo, they have maintained an indicator of 99.9 percent itinerary compliance and achieving positive financial performance.

In addition, we will take Wingo to the next level with an important expansion plan, in terms of routes and fleet, in 2020.

Carolina Cortizo Colón, daughter  President Lorentio Cortizo, is an industrial and systems engineer from Virginia Tech and has a Master of Science in Systems Engineering Administration from the same university.

She has over  seven years experience in strategic planning in the airline sector, as well as product development, rates and revenue optimization, which will add great value to the Wingo growth plan  says a company statement  The new CEO assumed the position on November 1
