Shageldi Khangeldiev has been appointed the deputy chairman of Turkmenistan's Turkmengaz State Concern,Trendreports referring to a published resolution of the Turkmen president.

Turkmenistan is one of the key suppliers of natural gas in the Caspian region.

Turkmengaz is developing gas and gas condensate fields, producing gas and gas condensate, processing natural gas, transporting gas, gas condensate and liquefied gas, selling gas and related products for export, as well as domestically.
