South Africa beat India: Here are the records broken

In reply, SA got the perfect start and that helped them set the tone for a win.

This was South Africa's sixth win against India in T20Is. This was the 15th T20I meeting between the two sides and Proteas' win sees them close the gap to 6-9. This was the 10th T20I for India in 2019. India now have a 5-5 tally.

He became the fifth Indian batsman to score 1,400-plus runs in T20Is.

He smashed four fours and two sixes in his knock.

De Kock also went past Graeme Smith's tally of 982.

Important milestones for De Kock and Dhawan

De Kock became only the third player to score 50-plus runs in first two innings as a captain in T20Is. He joined the likes of Paul Stirling and Navneet Singh Dhaliwal. Dhawan became the fourth Indian to surpass the 7,000-run mark in T20 cricket.
