CATL profits increase

Largest automotive lithium-ion battery maker in China, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. saw its net profit grow 130.8 percent in the first 6 months of the current year.
The net profit of the period increased USD296 million, the company said in a statement.
During the time frame, the total revenue of the company went up 116.5 percent since past year and reached USD2.68 million.
The company had a 46 percent share of the automotive lithium-ion battery market in China.
