Sri Lanka- Three cops linked to Kanjipani Imran transferred
(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) Three Sub Inspectors of the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) linked to notorious underworld figure Kanjipani Imran, have been transferred.
The Police said that the three Sub Inspectors had maintained close contacts with Kanjipani Imran.
As a result, the three CCD Sub Inspectors have been transferred to Jaffna, Mullaitivu and Mannar.
Kanjipani Imran was arrested in Dubai in February and was later deported to Sri Lanka.
