The objective was to create a value adding engagement with the primary school students through an excursion to the museum. Around 90 primary level school children from a selected TFB partner school from old Dhaka were brought into the museum.
There were eight DHL Volunteers and four TFB officials to accompany the students and facilitate their museum tour. The activity was a part of yearlong TFB engagement plan from DHL Bangladesh under its "Living Responsibility" strategy.
As the global tone for TFA (Teach for All) engagement is driving employability, DHL Bangladesh took this customised approach of sharing history and heritage with the primary school students, making them more enlightened contributing to the improvement of their learning curve.
This in the long run will be instrumental to make these students knowledgeable and prepared for employment as they grow older.
