4 percent economic growth in Panama

(MENAFN) Panama registered a boost by 4 percent in its economic growth during the first seven months of this year, less than the forecast of 4.5 percent that was made when this year started.

However, a report the Chamber of Commerce (CCAIP) issued showed, foreign investment is enjoying a constant increase.

According to a business survey, sales and income are expected by 35 percent of entrepreneurs to see a jump while 27 percent of them are projecting a decline and 36 percent forecast unchanged results.

This indicates that the forecast of a minor positive sales raise against a negative expectation in the previous quarter, as stated director of Economic Affairs of the Chamber Manuel Ferreira.
