Great Britain to welcome Uzbek leader
(MENAFN) Great Britain was announced to be receiving Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who is heading on an official trip under an invitation.
It comes following talks that were held between Uzbek Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov and Christopher Pincher, Minister of State for Europe and the Americas at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
Both sides, during their discussions, reviewed the potential of coordinating a high-level trip to the UK, reaching an understanding on launching arrangements for the matter.
They also explored the ongoing state and the possibility of strengthening bilateral cooperation and ties between the two countries.
