Qatar- Brisk business for beauty salons ahead of Eid
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Women's beauty salons across Doha have seen brisk business in the run up to Eid al-Adha with many of them having busy schedules with booked appointments.
Local Arabic daily Arrayah reported yesterday that some salons have been keen to recruit more professional workers and hairdressers to ensure uninterrupted services.
Eman al-Badri, a beauty salon owner, stressed she always maintains the highest hygiene standards and ensures to sterilise the equipment used on customers in addition to using some disposable tools.
She pointed out that the departments concerned inspect salons all year round. During Eid holidays demand is very high for hairdressing and other related cosmetic services. She also admitted that prices for such services could be slightly higher during these times. However, many salons want to attract customers and offer competitive prices and services.
Nada Sharaf, another salon owner, pointed out that increasing demand has led to the working hours being expanded.
Some customers observed that the prices vary from one place to another.
They said that as demand increase on these services, control efforts should be intensified as well to avoid any attempts in undermining the quality of services given to the customers.
