Afghanistan- 2 minor children injured in Nangarhar mosque bombing
(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A bomb blast inside amosque
injured two children in the Ghanikhel district of eastern Nangarhar province on Friday, an official said.
The blast took place inside the main mosque in the bazaar of Ghanikhel district center at about 7:30am, said the governor's spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani.
He said the explosives had been planted at the ablution area of the mosque. The minor boys injured in the blast were religious students, he said.
He said the injured boys had been shifted to a local hospital and their condition was said to be out of danger.
The blast also partially damaged the mosque. No group has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.
