Oman- Muscat to witness cloudy weather till today, says Met department

Muscat will witness cloudy weather till Wednesday but chances of rain are scant. An official from the Met department said partly cloudy skies will prevail along the coastal areas of Dhofar governorate and adjoining mountains with chances of intermittent drizzle.
An official said, 'The cloudy weather is due to the low pressure in the Indian Ocean and the monsoon in India.
'There are chances of dust winds over deserts of Al Wusta and Dhofar.'
Meanwhile, the governorates of Dhahirah, Dakhliyah, South Sharqiyah, North and South Batinah received medium to heavy rains in the morning on Tuesday.
