Sri Lanka- Three arrested over Jaffna shooting incident
(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) Three youth have been arrested over the recent shooting incident in Jaffna.
The Police had opened fire on a group of youth on motorcycles on Saturday after they had failed to stop at a checkpoint in Manipay.
One youth was killed in the shooting incident while another sustained injuries.
The Police suspect the group were part of the 'Aava gang' and that they had swords in their possession.
