(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Irbid, July 16 (Petra) -- Prime Minister Omar Razzaz Tuesday paid a surprise visit to the Princess Basma Hospital in the northern governorate of Irbid.
During the visit that followed other visits to different sites in Irbid, Razzaz learned firsthand about the level and quality of the services that the hospital provides to patients.
The prime minister talked directly to patients in the hospital on the services provided them, underlining the importance of improving services and simplifying procedures.
Razzaz was also briefed by on-duty doctors in the emergency ward on the workload and the huge number of patients as the ward handles more than 1,000 cases everyday.
