
Doreen Horschig
(MENAFN- The Conversation) Doreen is a doctoral candidate in Security Studies at the School of Politics, Security and International Affairs at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Her dissertation work uses experimental methods to explore causal mechanism of Israeli and US public opinion on the use of weapons of mass destruction as well as leader's positioning on nuclear weapons after the Cold War. Currently, she works as a Teaching Assistant at UCF. She worked as editor for the Journal of Political Inquiry, interned with Human Rights Watch, the German parliament and Congressman Eliot Engel, and has published in Democratization and the Huffington Post. Doreen holds a M.A. from New York University and B.A. from Manhattan College, both in International Relations.
