UK. China ink agreements aim at increasing commercial relations


(MENAFN) UK and China have enhanced their trade ties by inking new pacts during the 10th Economic and Financial Dialogue held in London.

The agreements inked between the two countries firms reached more than 500 million pounds sterling, and they cover financial services, technology, energy, the environment to education, beverages and food, according to the British Government.

The statement underlines a pact enables UK agricultural producers to export beef to the Chinese market by late this year.

The parties also inked a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in the application of ventures in third nations, and proclaimed the creation of a billion pound mutual fund to invest in small and medium-sized UK firms with plans to development in China.
