Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, made it quite clear on the floor of the US Senate, that completion of the Mueller Report, at least in his opinion, signified 'Case closed' for the Russian collusion, obstruction of justice investigation. According to President Trump, 'Angry Democrats spent almost $40 million on it' – the two-year probe. An amount that was once pegged at $25 million.

A probe tasked to an independent special counsel, supposedly keeping it independent from politically-tainted Department of Justice (DOJ) officials; however – if not curiously - to be upon completion, submitted solely to a politically appointed Attorney General, chosen by the individual at the center of that investigation. And to be interpreted and disseminated at his sole discretion. An interpretation that convinced the majority leader, and others in his party, that the 'Case is closed'.

Then there is South Carolina's Senator Lindsey Graham, who once said that 'There would be Holy Hell to Pay', if President Trump should fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions… a solid Republican', and that the president 'Was turning our democracy upside down', and that 'any effort to go after special counsel Mueller, could be the end of his presidency.'

But later on, following his conversion on his trip to the president's golf course - history does repeat itself, remember Saul's conversion on the road to Damascus, that led him to cease persecuting early Christians and turning him into a follower of Jesus, and changing him from Saul into Paul? – Senator Graham said that the Mueller report should speak for itself and 'as for me, the case is closed.' Not to be outdone by his South Carolina counterpart, Senator Thom Tillis of North Carolina, made his own conclusion (sure), that 'This case is closed', and that 'It's time to move on and start focusing on issues that matter to Americans.'

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky then chimed in, accusing fellow Senator Richard Burr, also of North Carolina, of not getting 'the memo from the majority leader that this case was closed.'

Icing the cake, President Donald Trump himself tweeted that: 'Nothing changes from the Mueller report. There was insufficient evidence and therefore, in our Country, a person is innocent. The case is closed! Thank you.' 8:37 AM - 29, May 2019.

If only Democrats were as disciplined. They never seem to all get the 'message'. Wouldn't life for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi be much easier if they did. Just all come to the same conclusion, using even the exact verbiage of expression thereof. Just by chance. Of course.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein's 'plane', which he promised the president that he would land, is the Mueller report: Mueller of course, is its pilot. Rosenstein commandeered the plane/report, giving the attorney general sufficient time to spread the word across the land, that there was no collusion, and no obstruction. This, weeks prior to what was concluded in the Mueller report became known to everyone. That is, that collusion could not be proven; and regarding obstruction, the Mueller report states that 'Accordingly, while this report does not conclude that the president committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.' Mueller later stated in his press conference that, 'If we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so.'

But while the plane had landed, it was not by its pilot, special counsel Bob Mueller. His subsequent mini news conference chipped away at the advantaged gained by Attorney General William Barr's seeming misinterpretation of the Mueller's report. What therefore remains to be done to restore that loss, is to neutralize the pilot of the plane – the author of the report. Well, what are the Democrats there for? Maybe they would help with the Mueller problem.

And the best way to do this? Put Robert Mueller on the stand!

Millions of Americans would see and hear the five minute, rather raucous pronouncements over Mueller's head, addressed instead to them, and the rest of the world. Robert Mueller, the decorated ex-marine, who put himself on the line to defend and protect, even those demeaning him on the panel, would not even be given the chance to respond.

While a mere three percent of Americans will have read the Mueller report, the House Republicans' rhetorical dressing down of Mueller, espousing their version of events on live television in five minute installments, would be seen by millions. Some of those millions, via word of mouth, would then pass it on to millions more.

One must only wonder if this is what the Democrats are in effect craving when insisting that Mueller enters the congressional hearing-cum-circus, for the sole purpose of, as he himself said, repeating what he already stated in his brief press announcement, and of course, in his 448-page report. While appearing, not coerced-face, 'I can land the plane' - and which he apparently did Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who experienced his own little curious conversion – recently did, standing on the left-hand side of the attorney general. But rather confounded, I guess. Hearing all the Republican inquisitors on the panel concluding with, 'CASE IS CLOSED'.

Which millions of voters would see; and many of them would believe. Then what would the Democrats say? Since they all seem to believe that the president has committed impeachable offenses, would political expediency continue to trump fealty to the constitution? I think that then, case would finally be closed.

P.S.: Eleven more innocent Americans received an extralegal death sentence; with legally purchased guns, in Virginia Beach. Thanks to the, possibly misinterpreted, as 'A well regulated Militia' is actually made up of 'the people' - 2nd Amendment.

The Small Arms Survey, an independent research project located at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland, Small Arms Survey 2017, concluded that: America with a population of 326,474,000: has 1,073,749 Registered Guns; and 392,273.257 Unregistered Guns.

It has become obvious that many of these guns cannot really be classed as 'small arms', as they compare quite favorably with military issue. Guns fuel and determine the outcome of wars; one of which could be utter anarchy, especially with an armed populace.

Who was it that referred to the 2nd Amendment as America's 'sunset clause'?
