Lebanese forces detain 10 Syrian illegal refugees

(MENAFN) On Friday, Lebanon's state security detained a Syrian national for easing the unlawful entry of nine Syrian refugees to Lebanon, local media reported.

All the ten Syrian illegal refugees were rounded up in south of Litani and they were transferred to a police station in Rashaya al-Fakhar for additional probes and other lawful measures, according to Elnashra, an online independent newspaper.

The Lebanese security forces have been attempting to get rid of smuggling operations near the border with Syria.

Also, Lebanon's Higher Defense Council ordered the nation's General Security to send away illegal Syrian refugees who entered Lebanon in an unlawful way to limit human trafficking.
