Group Iftar in Gaza expresses patience, steadfastness

GAZA, May 23 (KUNA) -- Gaza strip is witnessing various gestures of social solidarity in the holy month of Ramadan especially with the spread of group "Iftar".
Expressing their defiance of the Israeli blockade that began in summer 2007, people flock together to break their fast despite the scarcity of food material.
The group Iftar are almost present in every corner and street in Gaza where poor and family members of detainees and martyr share a meal during the holy month. (end) wab.gaa
