Naval Egyptian, France forces launch training exercise
(MENAFN) Naval forces of Egypt and France joined maritime training drills that commenced in the Mediterranean Sea.
In a statement, the Egyptian Armed Forces confirmed French frigate SURCOUF and Egypt's navy units to be taking part in the drills.
According to the statement, the exercise was launched as part of works the Egyptian Armed Forces are making to strengthen military ties with other nations.
Under the exercises, maritime acts are being conducted including methods to use sailing formations, fighting aggressive targets and foil non-traditional risks.
