Bahraini PM in Kuwait on brotherly visit

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, May 9 (KUNA) -- Bahrain's Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and his accompanying delegation on Thursday arrived in Kuwait on a short brotherly visit.
Upon arrival, Prince Khalifa was received at the airport by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah and Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah as well as a number of Sheikhs, ministers, advisors, senior officials of the Prime Minister's Diwan and the two countries' ambassadors.
Prince Khalifa expressed his pleasure to visit Kuwait to meet with His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and to congratulate him on the holy month of Ramadan.
He added that the visit is part of a yearly habit that reflects the official and personal appreciation to His Highness the Amir who was honored by the world as a Humanitarian Leader.
Prince Khalifa said that he seized the opportunity, during the visit, to appreciate Kuwait's honorable stances, under the leadership of His Highness the Amir, which support Bahrain's development efforts.
The Bahraini Premier said he conveyed greetings of Bahraini King Hamad bin Issa Al-Khalifa and Bahraini people to His Highness the Amir, the Kuwaiti government and people who are highly appreciated by the Bahraini nation.
He said the visit is a chance to reaffirm the well-established and deep-rooted bilateral relations, and to discuss some topics aiming to develop cooperation and ties to serve the interests of the two countries and their people.
The visit also gives a chance to meet His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Bahraini Premier said.
He wished everlasting progress, stability, growth, prosperity in different fields to Kuwait under the leadership of His Highness the Amir. (end) hm
