Nissan's Ghosn trial date set
(MENAFN) The trial of former Nissan Motor Co chairman Carlos Ghosn on charges of under-reporting his salary will likely start in Tokyo in September.
According to Japan's public broadcaster NHK, Ghosn's first court appearance may be on May 23 as part of the arrangements for the trial.
Ghosn was released on USD9 million bail this month after staying over 100 days in a Tokyo detention centre.
He faces charges of under-reporting his salary at Nissan by about USD82 million over nearly a decade.
