(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MUSCAT, March 20 (KUNA) -- Governor of Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) Mohammad Al-Hashel arrived here on Wednesday, leading Kuwait's delegation to the 72nd meeting of the GCC Committee of Governors of Monetary Institutions and Central Banks, due tomorrow.
Al-Hashel was received by Executive President of Central Bank of Oman Taher Al-Omari and Kuwait's Ambassador to Oman Suleiman Al-Harbi.
Tomorrow's meeting will discuss some topics on supervising and controlling GCC banking and payment systems as well as the use of techniques in the financial sector.
The one-day meeting will also focus on some issues related to the joint dialogue between the GCC monetary institutions and central banks as well as some groups, economic blocs and other relevant topics. (end) ma.amm.hm
