Iraqi PM arrives in Karbala
(MENAFN) On Sunday, Iraqi Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, has arrived in southwestern Iraq's city of Karbala to open a number of ventures on the occasion of the Day of Karbala Province.
"Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, has arrived in Karbala city on Sunday for the opening of several projects and laying down of foundation stones for a number of other projects, on the occasion the Day of KarbalaProvince, taking place today (Sunday)," IraqiNews.com news agency correspondent reported.
The center of the Province carrying the same name, is 108 km to the south of Baghdad.
