European bank funds building schools in Jordan


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, March 9 (KUNA) -- The Jordanian government on Saturday inked a deal with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development according to which the bank would grant Amman USD 67.4 million to build 67 schools.
The official news agency, Petra, quoted Minister of Public Works and Housing Falah Al-Amoush, who signed the accord, as saying that grant would be disbursed to build a number of schools in several regions of the kingdom. (end) ab.rk
