U.S. Nauert no longer UN envoy nominee
(MENAFN) U.S. State Department announced that Heather Nauert, Trump's nominee for the UN ambassador, is no longer considered for the position.
Trump presented the State Department spokesperson on December 7th as the potential successor for Nikki Haley.
However, the state department affirmed, the candidacy of Nauert was not officially handed to the U.S. Senate.
"The past two months have been grueling for my family and therefore it is in the best interest of my family that I withdraw my name from consideration," Nauert stated.
