UAE: joint military drill with Oman concludes


(MENAFN) On Wednesday, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman concluded "Cooperation 2" military drill, state-run Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

During the two-week drill, which was held in the UAE starting from February 3, several missions were carried out within the framework of collaboration and coordination between both nations, WAM stated.

"'Cooperation 2' consisted of a number of tough exercises to boost contacts between the UAE ground forces and the Omani army," Commander of the UAE Ground Forces Saleh Mohamed Saleh Al Ameri affirmed.

He hailed the battle readiness shown during the two-week drill.
