Saudi Aramco UGP listed as 'Lighthouse' facility
(MENAFN) The World Economic Forum (WEF) was announced to have listed Uthmaniyah Gas Plant (UGP) of Saudi Aramco as a "Lighthouse" manufacturing facility.
This recognizes Saudi Aramco's WED as a hub for technology applications of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
According to the Saudi oil giant, "the recognition of the Uthmaniyah Gas Plant demonstrates Saudi Aramco's shift to transform and adapt in the rapidly changing global energy landscape."
Aramco's CEO said Amin H. Nasser stated: "Uthmaniyah is only one part of our large integrated energy value chain where IR 4.0 technologies are playing a critical role to enable significant capital and operational efficiencies."
