Nama exhibition promotes potential of Omani youth


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- An exhibition to support the youth, highlight their projects and develop their capabilities and potentials in sustainable areas was recently held at the Muscat Grand Mall.

Organised by Nama Group, the 'Nama Sustainability Exhibition' was held from January 16-18 under the auspices of Eng Omar Khalfan al Wahaibi, CEO of Nama Group.

The launch ceremony was held in the presence of concerned officials in the public and private sectors, as well as CEOs and executive managers of the group along with media representatives and those interested in sustainability fields. The group with its various programmes seeks to display projects and achievements and maintain the sustainability culture to contribute to small enterprises. These projects focus on promoting awareness on essential practices in electricity and health and safety. Some of the projects included 'Baiti Amin' project, National Electricity Conservation Campaign 'Tadoom' and the ICV programme to rehabilitate electrical technicians in the power sector.

The projects sought to strengthen the group's strategy to add value and contribute to sustainable development in Oman. Since the launch of the Group's Sustainability Policy in 2014, Nama Group has made significant progress in its sustainability strategy, continuing to support positively to social, economic and environmental aspects in the sultanate. The group plays a leading role in achieving overall prosperity and national development.
