Netanyahu reportedly planning Saudi Arabia visit: Media
(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: Israeli Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is reportedly considering a visit to Saudi Arabia and meeting Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
This was reported by Fox Business a few days back. According to Fox News National Security Analyst Walid Phares, Netanyahu is very serious about the meeting as Saudi Arabia and Israel are scared about Iran and the rapprochement is in the works from 2015.
According to the report, Saudi administration has prepared grounds for the visit among their civil society.
This could be because of the numerous arrests of human rights activists and political commentators have sowed an atmosphere of terror.
In an opinion article on Wall Street Journal, Karen Elliott House wrote that 'Don't be surprised if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu soon visits Saudi Arabia to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
As per house 'Crown Prince Mohammed loves risk and is eager to turn page from the Jamal Khashoggi murder.
